The foundation of Jubilee Campus is built on Psalm 23:6 “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
When I think about my professional life, I cannot help but testify of God’s goodness and mercy. All honour and praise to the Lord.
I have been the Principal of Heidi Toddler Campus since 2010, after which we changed the name to Jubilee Toddler Campus. We opened a new School in 2023 at 48 Billingham Street, Sasolburg. The Heidi name screamed for renewal and thus Jubilee Campus was born.
Jubilee Campus is my life’s goal. I believe that I have been called by the Lord to do this work. For me, this is not just a profession, but an absolute passion. I am very aware of the great responsibility that rests on my shoulders and therefore you can be assured that your child will always be my first priority. Our motto is think, learn, thrive and this entail our approach to educational development. Hereby the strategy we follow:
Think
Indicates the development of cognitive skills. Research has proven that cognitive skills are a determining factor of an individual’s learning ability. When cognitive skills are strong, learning becomes fast and easy. When cognitive skills are weak, learning becomes a struggle. The importance of this is therefore non-negotiable at Jubilee Campus.
Learn
A child learns with his/her body and it is crucial that they move, learn and play. Gross motor skills and fine motor skills lay the foundation for many. We further focus on the development of language and social skills. Exploring nature and experimenting with different textures and media increases creativity and imagination. Music and movement are intertwined with mathematical abilities and reasoning skills.
Thrive
The foundation that Jubilee Campus lays ensures that our learners are self-confident with a very good self-esteem. This enables learners to flourish throughout their school career.
